lagging behind a little
The week has gone by and I haven't made as much progress on things as I hoped. My main goal was to finalize the stupid BS artwork and upload it but I've made little to no advancement on that. I also aimed to get in a little bit of web development for this page but didn't even touch it.
I'm mostly just continuing the routine of getting home from work and just drawing. I spend an hour at least just getting in some practice; focusing on shapes, form, and perspective.(Lowkey, I've been drawing a little bit of some NSFW stuff, practicing female anatomy while watching XXX lol[._.]in my gooner artist arc) I like looking at artists on Newgrounds and stuff. I'm also pretty into Gurren Lagan right now. I've been watching an episode every now and then. The studio trigger art style is dope. Hiroyuki Imaishi is a goat character designer. I wanna get his art book at some point. I wanna just draw hot pinups and stuff really, eventually design some orignial characters for a comic or series or something.
Honestly, since I got my PSP, I've kinda been neglecting a lot of my set goals/responsibilities. After drawing for an hour, I'd spend whatever time I had left in the evening just playing PSP. My free time is very limited throughout the week and I know I've got a stuff to do so I really need to get more intentional with my time. Playing PSP is fun (especially God of War: Chains of Olympus) but theres a time and place for everything.
Work on it's own is really killer, so I need to make some momentum to start on creative work before I even get home. But how will I do that? I'm not sure. I'll think about it this weekend. For now, I'll keep it light and just play it by vibe. Go with the flow and all that.
